Amy Gittelman, MS, APRN, BC
Amy completed her nurse practitioner training at The Ohio State University where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society of nursing. She has special expertise in the fields of Men’s and Women’s Sexual Health as well as Women’s Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy for women and Testosterone therapy for men. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has terrific diagnostic skills and has tremendous empathy for her patients exhibited by her very warm bedside manner. Additional fields of training and expertise include Erectile Dysfunction, BPH, prostate cancer, and urinary incontinence.
Amy has been the Clinical Director of South Florida Medical Research for over 20 years where she has served as a sub-investigator for more than 400 clinical trials helping to develop many of the medications now on the market used by millions of patients. She continues to be active in participating in the earliest innovative agents for treatment of low testosterone, benign prostatic hyperplasia as well as prostate cancer. She has been involved in numerous pivotal clinical trials with virtually every medicine used to treat
BPH/LUTS and is involved with several therapies still in the research pipeline. Additional current research includes work in the fields of prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction and female sexual dysfunction.
